Annabelle's Best Brownies
Years ago, I found this recipe on a Diamond Almonds advertisement. I've never had a better brownie anywhere, and they are as easy as any mix!
Plus, no mixer necessary; just use a slotted spoon.
Preheat oven to 350.
Seven steps and only a few ingredients!
1/2 cup flours
1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup nuts
Cream butter and sugar together.
Mix in 2 eggs.
Add flour, cocoa, baking powder, and vanilla; mix together.
Fold in 1/2 cup of nuts.
Spread in a greased square brownie pan.
Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of nuts over the top.
Bake until a toothpick comes out clean or with a crumb or two attached (this makes a moister brownie).
Let cool, cut, wrap, give!
